If you have visited my YouTube channel, by now you already know that Ms Kaela’s fashion world is all about defying the fashion norms set by people or the community e.g wearing an all flowing red gown on a valentine day. My galaxy it’s more of not giving the people what they usually or normally expect.
So on this valentine week, I did a video and a photo-shoot showcasing the seven looks/ outfits you can pull out this Sunday #valentineday. Starting from the usual/common way to extreme defying of valentine norms.
Let’s take a ride together.
Outfit 1&2 (Red Maxi dress with cream laced decorations & a maxi with crisscrossed design at the back)
This is definitely what we expect to see this valentines at dinners, outings, ball dance etc.
It is elegant beautiful and classy, the design at the back also is breathtaking but it’s too obvious.
The second dress is a bit not obvious because it has some cream laced decorations at the sides making it a bit unique and cool.
NB: Note the accessories used to complete the outfit
3rd Outfit (Jump Suit)
It’s definitely a good choice of surprising your man, friends, relatives and family on a valentine date/dinner/out. It’s rare to see a lady putting on a jump suit on a valentine day, and so this choice defies the norms a little bit. It is unique and stylish. You can choose to us e a red belt/white/black etc. on the waist, no boundaries as long as you break the red monotony color.
I have accessorized it with black ankle boots, white belt, golden earrings and necklace.
4th Outfit (Short red dress with boots)
Boots on a valentine day, makes you the center of attention, reason, it’s because we are used to sandal like high heeled shoes on a valentine day. The first photo shows the normal way the second shows the unusual way because of boots.
If you are going partying then you definitely should make this your choice. With a slim golden chain, a maasai bangle that has red decorations and normal bangles the outfit is complete.
5th Outfit (Red Dress with Lace)
Well, things are getting better and better as we nearing the end. What makes this dress interesting is the fact that it is a knee high figure hugging dress with a high and low lace from the knee going down.
You can put it on with ankle boots, block it with a different color (details on the YouTube video) of shoes or put on open high heels.
6th Outfit (The black Maxi dress)
I mean in all these outfits I have two options to choose from, this one and the last outfit. This tells you how much I love defying fashion norms set by people and community especially when the norms holds like traditions.
This black dress with red beaded chain or African earrings plus red heels will make my valentine day complete. Meaning I so love attracting attention fashion wise when it comes to events.
Black is bold remember. But add some red tings here and there to honor the valentine red color.
O my!! I’m so so in love with this. If you happen to spot anyone on Sunday dressed like this, just know it’s me, Ms Kaela. This completely defies all norms of an all flowing red dress, or a whole red colored dress or jump suite. I mean no one expects you to put a white and blue shirt dress with tights or just it alone.
With red necklace and red tights plus black heels. It is complete. Do it again with red heels minus tight it is also so complete.
