I stepped out of the house , stepped into the car, drove a few kilometers then got caught in traffic. I stretched my hand reached out to my camera just to confirm that it was set for the trip only to realize that I had left the battery with its charger charging in the house. I took the next exit back to the house to pick the battery and its charger. Not the best way to start a journey but how else could the trip be successfully without epic and beautiful moments being captured?? Being a fashion blogger I go no where without a fully functioning camera.
we started the journey at 8:30 Am to Nyahururu using the Mahi Mahiu Road. Along the way we stopped and took photos at the African art shops and also at the famous 12 sitter Catholic church. At the church, seeing how small the building was,I asked myself so many questions like Why 12 sitter only? Do people enter the church to pray in turns or what? How many mass services do they have on Sunday for all the followers to be able to attend? I was too curious to know but I ended up leaving the place without clear answers.
Our next stop was Bufallo Mall where we bought some snacks then drove to Panari Hotel Nyahururu.
The place is heavenly.
Stick around for some epic photos of the place and much more especially how I got initiated into the Gikuyu culture.
Thanks for stopping by.
