While night skincare routine are easy to practice, Morning skincare routine are the craziest to keep up with. Blame our late morning alarms that makes us hop out of bed, straight to the bathroom, apply some face cream and out we rush expecting to have some tea at work. No time to take care of our face skin in the morning. We all blame it on the lack of time. But hey, time is created.

Have you ever seen some people whose face are darker than their neck or body in general??? or have some uneven skin with black patches?? Well it’s because of poor skincare especially face skin. Our face skin is always exposed out on the sun that emits ultraviolet rays each and every day which is harmful to it, causing it to darken, get dull and wrinkle without proper care. So if you want an even vibrant skin then you better start giving it more attention especially in the morning.

They say prevention is better than cure. Our morning skincare routine helps prevent the skin from all harmful things e.g. UV rays the whole day, whereas our night skincare routine helps rejuvenate our skin. I encourage you to take more importance in the morning skincare routine.

When we say morning skincare routine; you’ll imagining a whole hour of it. Well, its not; It’s workable within 5 minutes. There is NO excuse of time anymore.
Allow me to share with you my daily 5 minutes morning skincare routine.

Step 1. I cleanse my skin with Black soap. Why black soap? It removes every impurity from the skin leaving your pores super clean. If you apply oil products at night , I suggest you use black soap to remove all the dirt from the surface of your skin. For those who don’t use black soaps, then a skin cleanser will fill in.

Step 2. Using cotton pad I apply toner into my face and neck in circular motion evenly. Toner is very very important for your skin, more so because it hydrates your skin & balances your skin PH. If your face is prone to acne or its an oily skin, apply toner every morning. Go for alcohol free formula. I use lemon toner.

Step 3. SPF Cream – Don’t ever go without applying SPF cream in the morning. Even if you are gonna stay in doors, apply it. A little sun can cause great damage to your skin over time. It brings with it sunburns, wrinkles, darkening of skin, dull skin, sunspots etc. that you don’t wanna deal with. SPF cream is a must. Use nothing below 30+ SPF. I use Hamilton SPF cream that has 50+ UV protection.

Step 4. Moisturize – It’s a must. It helps keep your skin hydrated the whole day. No drying. So yes, it is very important. Personally I use Lemon cream moisturizer for an oily skin because I have an oily skin.

Step 5. Primer – If you apply any pigmented products e.g makeup and other face creams, then you should apply primer. Primer acts as a barrier between your skin and makeup and also it allows flawless makeup/cream application. there are those primers that have vitamins that are beneficial for your skin; buy such e.g BIWBIW primer cream. I use flormar or BIWBIW primer followed by my makeup after allowing it to settle down while making my eyebrows.

You don’t have to apply makeup after applying primer; you can powder your face after applying primer.

That’s basically my 5 steps morning skincare routine. I hope I have answered all your questions that you have inboxed me about sharing my morning skincare routine to your maximum satisfaction.
